Mirex JSC., is the first producer of sponge iron and steel alloy in Vietnam. Mirex owns a Mining - Metallurgy Complex, which has the capacity of 200, 000 ton/year in Cao Bang province. Mirex produce sponge iron using non-coke technology which is economic and environmentally friendly. Mirex&＃039;s technology has been granted 2 patents no. 7386 and 7387 for “Methodology of manufacturing sponge iron” and “Methodology of manufacturing steel from sponge iron” by the National Office of Intellectual Property of Vietnam.
