Our shop is located in the small Village of Candor, New York, in the center of the beautiful Catatonk Valley, which lies just south of the Finger Lakes Region of New York State. Although our shop is small we are the worlds largest producer of atlatls and accessories. Thunderbird Atlatl is a lucky to be located where the best quality raw materials for our products grow. Our business philosophy is to produce the highest quality product for our customers from materials that we get from the source so that we can control all processes from harvesting the raw materials to the selling of our finished product to the ultimate owner and user. Thunderbird Atlatl is a constantly working on improving our product line as well as pushing the envelope on introducing new and different uses for atlatl hunting and fishing. Currently we are working on using atlatls and harpoons for the purpose of harvesting tuna in the Atlantic fisheries.
