I own a small factory that produces cork stoppers in any size, standard shape or tapered, it&#39s a business that has started with my grandfather and goes through generations. Located in the world&#39s biggest cork transformation industry centre in the north of Portugal, we mainly work portuguese raw cork, transforming it into stoppers and into waste, which can also prepared as broken cork and granulate.Sandro Oliveira Silva Unipessoal Lda is aware of the advantages and disadvantages of being a small manufacturer in this industry, we may not have the same production and stockage capacities as bigger companies for instance, but in some products we are confident to be very competitive in quality and price.This privileged location allows us to be flexible and to be able to work with every kind of products made from cork and to get every necessary tools and services required to do any task. We believe our strongest product are natural corks, specially the tapered corks, and our strongest skill is the capacity to adapt to any circumstance and request and to find solutions.My grandfather and my other family members that work in this industry such as my father and my uncles have always worked and supplied the local market. Since 2017 we have changed our strategy and we are betting on exportations, which have been very positive so far.
