The Rice Specialist, since 1860Founded in 1860, Riso Scotti was one of the first Italian rice factories to produce and sell packaged rice, thus guaranteeing the constant high quality and hygiene of the product. Already a few years ago Riso Scotti strategically planned to have the entire production process under one roof in Romania. For this reason, Riso Scotti opened in 2005 its second rice milling factory in Romania. It also acquired approximately 10. 000 hectares of land suitable for rice cultivation along the Danube River. This makes Riso Scotti one of the largest rice cultivators in Europe.
