Poddar Export was established in 1993 in Patna Bihar, at that time exports was a new thing in a small city like Patna and therefore chances of progressing was little. At the time of establishment the companies aims were too purely and only manufacture ladies and childrens garments. The garments being manufactured from than till now have been of both woven and knitted fabrics. At this point Poddar Exports was working solely for with a large USA Based Importer by the name of Sacred Threads. In 1996 Poddar Exports moved its establishment from Patna to Gurgaon (Exports core city 10 KMs from New Delhi). Moving to Gurgaon was the crescendo of our company and from here on it started to increase in manpower and land space. At this moment it is broaden over 4 buildings in the heart of Udyog Vihar. I.e. 637/638 & 721 Phase V. Overall we have 45,000+ Sq ft of working area which together has a capacity of producing over 80,000+ pcs per month. Poddar exports currently employ 450+ workers and are hopeful of increments in total work force in the near future.Working with prominent buying houses in India and also big name direct buyers such as Vanitex, Sacred Threads, EWM (Scotland) we have mastered the business.
