We were incorporated in april 1997. Our core business is manufacturing and trading of office chairs and office furniture such as desks and storage cabinets for export. Our main export markets are middle east, south pacific islands, africa and others just to name a few.
<br/>We started manufacturing office chairs in 1998. At that time, we were producing about 2500 chairs per month. By the year 2002, our production increases to about 5000 chairs per month and in year 2005, our company's turnover is us $3 million. We even secured a domestic project which amounts to us $1 million for 12 months delivery.
<br/>We have entered into a formal collaboration with 2 overseas manufacturers to produce office furnitures and chairs for our company on an 'original design manufacturer' (odm) basis. In this agreement, we will invest in the mould cost and the manufacturers will produce the finished products conforming to our design and quality standards. To ensure consistency, we even seconded our qc and r & d personnel to their factories.
<br/>There are several other advanrages:
<br/>I) more versatile in new product development due to larger number of supporting industries available there.
<br/>Ii) no production indirect cost such as wastage.
<br/>Iii) there is a product warranty against manufacturing defects of 12 months from the contracted producer.
<br/>In malaysia, we will still continue to promote our local products as some of the products and design is different from those produced there. In fact, some of our customers still insist on made in malaysia products.
