Our company - Chelyabinsk Engineering Car Trailer Plant JSC "Uralavtoprizep" - is one of the Russian leaders in elaboration and manufacture of top quality trailer equipment which often have no parallel in Russia due to its multi-purpose range and cargo capacity. Founded in 1943 till nowadays the plant has experienced a number of difficult organizational and structural changes in course of which modern technical and manufactural basis was formed.
<br/>In the first years the plant worked to design documentation of Minsk and Yaroslavsky auto-mobile plant and was the only one in the USSR which produced heavy vanner trailers of two types: semi-trailer of 25 tonnage and trailer of 40 tonnage.
<br/>It was of vital importance to raise its own constructive and engineering staff for extension to manufacturing capacity. Thanks to this policy the company was able to produce a unique trailer of 120 tonnage, and in 1968 a trailer of 300 tonnage of domestic design came off the press. In two years after perestroika began CECTP a trailer of 1200 tonnage rolled off the production line.
<br/>In 1965 commodity line was supplemented with tractor tip-lorry trailers, which were replaced with drop side trailer for ZIL vehicles in 1990. In 1975 production of container ship semi-trailers was mastered for transportation of 20-foot containers. The stock-list didn't change till 1992, that year the state-owned enterprise was reorganaized to a joint stock company.
<br/>Nowadays JSC "Uralavtoprizep" Plant is a sizeable enterprise with unique staff, flexible process engineering which assure prompt reaction to changing requirements of the market, modify the stock-list in the shortest possible time by highly skilled production workers and executives.
