Diversity of climate from a very cold to a torrid weather has created such a condition that a broad range of agricultural products, greenery, ornamental and decorative flowers, medical herbs, cold climate fruit such as apples, pears, figs, almonds, olives and tropical fruit such as pistachio, tea leaves, dates, kiwi, pomegranates, and citrus are all produced in Iran. Diversity in the biological plantation has placed Iran among the eight regions in the world in which a variety of plants are grown.
