Project Description The Proposed project will have the equipment necessary for Cigarette Making & Packing lines along with some auxiliary items. The project can be brought to operation at its initial capacity within 4 to 6 months. The project would be capable to produce 62,400,000/= Cigarettes/month (based on 2shifts per day). Production Description CIGARETTES: Cut tobacco is used in cigarette manufacturing. Each brand is manufactured with a specific blend (flavor). Other Raw materials such as Cigarette Paper, Filters, Tipping paper, etc, also aid in adjusting the final taste of a blend. The Cigarettes are manufactured by the Cigarette Makers, passed on to the Filter Attachment Machine, where the Filter Plug is attached. 5 The Cigarettes are then fed to the Packing Machine (Manually or through a automatic link-up conveying system). The packets thus produced ( hard packs) are again conveyed to the Wrapping Machine where they are wrapped in Cellophane to preserve the freshness.
