L.C.Smith & Associates provide recovery services for all scrap precious metal materials including gold, platinum, silver, palladium, rhodium, iridium, and ruthenium. We perform extraction services for industry, but work with consumers on a regular basis to recover metals from old coins, flatware, jewelry, and other materials which contain precious metals. Many large and small manufacturing and research companies have taken advantage of our programs for their scrap metals. We recover valuable metals from materials that may have been otherwise discarded or sent to a consolidator. After the precious metal recovery process, all materials from our facilities are returned to manufacturing and/or research applications. Due to the difficulty in refining and recycling scrap precious metals, finding the right precious metal refiner can be challenging. Our staff is highly-skilled, efficient and most have been with us since our founding. We control all aspects of the refining process and operate in compliance with all local and federal regulations.
