For the period of 110 years The Works has undergone a number of reconstructions. Prior to the 70s, The Works primarily had produced foundry iron, but due to the shortage of ferromanganese on the domestic market, Kosaya Gora Iron Works undertook its production as well. For it&＃039;s long history The Works has produced 12, 5 million tons of foundry (hematite) pig iron, 9 million tons of high carbon ferromanganese, 1, 4 million tons of ferrosilicon.
