The history of the products of the Swiss company Herbamedicus began long before the founding of the company in Zurich in 2006. At the very beginning there was a successful recipe, proven by generations, for a herbal balm based on horse chestnut, called Pferdebalsam, which was prepared by the local pharmacist and herbalist in the town of Schwyz. Its composition was then passed on through several generations until it came into the hands of the founders of Herbamedicus.The original traditional recipe for Pferdebalsam based on 25 herbs is currently deposited in the company's headquarters in Switzerland. The original recipe, respectively its manufacturing process, was adapted for the use of the current manufacturing technologies. The motto of the Herbamedicus company is to improve people's lives by offering the natural products that utilize the hidden power of herbs. From its original focus on the musculoskeletal system Herbamedicus expanded the range of its products to body care, especially skin care products. Experts and specialists from Herbamedicus continue to work to develop new product lines in the field of natural therapeutic cosmetics and food supplements.Since its establishment, the Herbamedicus company has focused mainly on Central Europe, where natural products were noticeably absent. Today, its product portfolio can be found in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Greece, Cyprus, and also in Lathia and Lithuania.
