The plantation project began in 1999 in the Brazilian state of Roraima. First promising test results where obtained from an experimental planting of about 1000 seedlings of Acacia Mangium from 1998. The plantations now have a total area of about 30, 000 hectares. Production goals are sawn timber AD and KD, S4S products, solid wood flooring and other timber products.
