The Member of Elginkan Group, Elsan Hammadde Sanayii A.S was established in Istanbul in 1969 as a foundry where brass casting had been made. In 1971, ELSAN had started the production of brass rods. Elsan has increased the capacity by adding continuous casting lines in 1976. ELSAN activated its new facility in Industrial Organized Zone in Manisa in 1990 ELSAN, has kept its investments on developments, activated the second continuous casting lines, which is computerized, in order to increase the capacity of it in 1995. In 2000, ELSAN started the production of polishing quality Brass Ingots Casting and investments on improvements still continue. ELSAN considers to increasing the productivity while continue to investments about improvement and automation.
