Families still depend greatly on self catering. You will experience old China culture and will see village people carry out their day to day duties and traditions.Fresh locally grown food is prepared according to season and local cousine. The fields are just outside the house area.Miss Elaine Tan, your guide, was born and raised in this village. Miss Tan has a university degree in English and is the general manager for a small scale international trade company.HS(Huangshi)village is located about 150 km south east of Changsha Hunan. We will arrange to pick you up at Changsha International airport (CSX) (2h drive by car) or the speed train station in Hengyang (Beijing – Guangzhou line) (1h by car).The accommodation is in the newly built 3 bedroom house (completed in 2015) in the centre of the village. All this house gives you a feeling that you are just come back home, Living room has TV, wood burner, relaxing on sofa, reading, watching TV, chitchat with your friends or families. Next to the living room is the western kitchen, we offer you coffee in the morning there. Each bedroom has a/c (heat/cold), shower cabin, sink and toilet. Beds are new with wool/silk bed linen. Just outside the house is a river where women wash clothes in the morning and fields where farmer take care of their crops. Sit in the garden with coffee, tea or beer, you will see farmers are working in a nice peaceful picture.The house incorporates an integrated outside kitchen where your food of choice will be prepared by local chefs.
