In the 1990s, the founder, Mr. Chua Thian Huat has set up a raw-clean edible-birdnest processing plant, namely Dragon Brand Birdnest Sdn Bhd in Kuching, Sarawak. He was a Chairman of Sarawak Bird's Nest Import and Export Association at that time. Since then, the business has expanded tremendously to other countries.Since its inception, the company has embarked on the business as processor, wholesaler, retailer and exporter.Having complied with the requirements of Food Safety Programmes, the :Company was awarded the ISO : (Food Safety Management System), MS 1480:2007 (Food Safety According to HACCP System) and MS 1514:2009 (Good Manufacturing Practice - GMP for Food) by Intertek Certification Intrnational Sdn. Bhd. in December, 2016. Those certitfications signify the complete compliance by the processing plant to the standard of hygiene and sanitation, quality assurance and food safety.
