Dennis Recycled and Upcycled Productions was developed in our fathers name, Dennis John Law, who taught us not to waste anything as there was always a way to use something rather than throwing it away.The business is owned by Tracey Smith and Head of Construction is brother, David Law, Head of Development is Traceys daughter, Jess Walters. It is still a small business as has only been developed this year and is family orientated.The main trade for the company at present is via the Facebook page. They hold online auctions twice a week. They sell a whole range of products from clothing, foot ware, household items, furnishings etc. Art by Tracey also recycleds furniture, materials, natural products to create artwork, sculptures, furniture which are also sold through the business both online and at craft Fayres.the aim of the business for the first five years is to sell 97% of products and materials that are recycled. After the fifth year the aim is not not drop below 99% recycled products and materials!The other aim of the company is to raise money via the profits made from the online auctions for Macmillans, a charity very close to our hearts. Currently we donate 10% profits to Macmillans from existing stock. Where group members donate items to go into the auction we will donate up to 100% of profits. Whilst we are a new company and in our first year of business we firmly believe in committing to provide for charities where we possibly can as the offer a vital service nationally but also within local communities and this our way of giving a little back to our community.I will add more details about the company as we develop our five year business plan.
