Cousin Composites is a daughter company of the Company Cousin Freres founded in 1850. Cousin Freres original business was the manufacturing of sewing threads. After World War 2, Cousin decided to invest in other directions and was one of the first company working on synthetic fiber. Then more recently, (in the 80s) Cousin decided to invest in the Composites material business, and creates the subsidiary Cousin Composites. Cousin Composites is today a leading supplier of raw material to the cable industry. We design, manufacture and sell a full range of products for various applications like reinforcement of cable, pipes, etc. We also manufacture products for water blocking application, for binding, or ripcords for the cable industry.
