The family-owned Chun Cheng Group was founded in 1986. Its' humble beginning stems from a fleet of sashimi tuna long-liners to four to-date which enable it to get the best out of its deep water species. Chun Cheng Fishery was established in 1994 trading seafood items. In 1998, after exploring different options, the company operates on rented cold-storage to process mainly swordfish. Market demand increased and she decided to boost its processing capacity further and bought a plant at No. 1, Second Chin Bee Road, Singapore located on 6, 395 sq meters of land area. It comprises of an administration block, two production areas, a cold-storage facilities with a capacity of 1, 000 metric tons, a 20 metric ton capacity of blast freezer, a packing materials warehouse and a canteen. The company is committed to its principle of Total Quality Management and operates within strict practices of food hygiene and safety, sanitation and quality control governed by HACCP concept.</p>
