In 1968, the private company which was founded to be base on, Choong Ang Animal Disease Laboratory Co., Ltd founded the research, development, and manufacture of the vaccine for  prevention of animal disease in 1994. In 1994, Choong Ang Animal Disease Laboratory Co., Ltd got KVGMP certificate the industry's first on-time and merged PaCheon Laboratory Co., Ltdto strengthen for research and development in these industries.
In 2003, change the name to Choong Ang Vaccine Laboratories Co., Ltd (CAVAC) and listed stocks to KOSDAQ in October, so CAVAC could be based on growing as the company which equiped a global age international competitive power. CAVAC investes 6~10% in research and development of yearly sale to secure the technical competitiveness against the multinational companies. CAVAC also provides high level solution and product assurance to the consumers through the radical seed lot system and running the modern style animal test laboratories building.
At the end of the September in 2006, CAVAC is based on the best market share company among the domestic animal vaccine companies, it extends the export to Southeast Asia, Middle East area and it also focuses on to China, India and Brazil as like developing countries and emerging markets with the best effort in advance.
