Kim. Kee-Woong received his architectural training at Seoul National University. His practice has included housing and private residences, museum, commercial building, and such major civic commissions as courthouses and city hall in Korea. His most renowned projects include: The Independence Memorial Hall of Korea; Poongnap-Dormitory at The Korea Exchange Bank; Dharma Buddhist Center; Maeheon Memorial Hall; National Movie Production of Korea; MBC Training Institute; Renovation of The First Bank of Korea; Motion Picture Promotion Corporation; Sungdong Residents Sports Complex; Chunju City Hall; and the Chunju Citizen&＃39;s Plaza, all of which received awards from Governor of KIA and KIRA. Mr. Kim was selected as architect to design The Independence Memory Hall of Korea in 1983 and received The Honorable Decoration from Korean Government. In 1984, he received a degree of Master of Architecture from Seoul National University. In 1989, he was awarded the KIRA Gold Medal, considered the field&＃39;s highest honor in Korea, for the Dharma Buddhist Center. Among projects recently completed by Kim & Partners are: Kwang-ju Advanced Institute of Science and Technology; Cheju Tourist Center; Jirisan Family Hotel; Samsung Production of Motion Pictures, and the Cheju National Museum.
