Founded nearly a century ago in 1932; M/s Gheru lal Balchand is a family business based in Abohar (Punjab), India. Since 1932, the business has seen the dynamic leadership of three pioneers. The business/ company, 81 years ago was the brainchild of Seth Balchand ji Sharda, under whose excelling leadership it gained recognition. The second innings of the business was headed by and thrived under the management of Shri Purushottam Lal Sharda. Over the last three decades, Pradeep Sharda has taken the business to newer heights. In 1994 branching out from the company came into being Balchand Cotspin Pvt. Ltd., a ginning mill initiated by Pradeep Sharda.
