The sugar or "panela" as it is called by the natives has a brown color and is produced in the same manner it has been produced for generations. Sugar cane is brought directly from the plantations into so-called "trapiches" or improvised small sugar mills where the raw juice is extracted and dried to produce the whole sugar. The process is completely self-sustaining since the "bagazo" or extracted cane is used as fuel. Our product has a humidity between 2.5% - 3.0%. We can assure up to 200,000 Kgs per month of our product packaged in boxes, sacks, or even plastic bags for the final consumer.
