Applied Measurements offer a comprehensive range of load cells and other sensors to suit a vast range of applications and if a standard device does not fit we can modify the design to suit, or even produce a completely unique, custom design to provide a perfect fit. Pressure sensors, transducers and transmitters are available to suit applications as diverse as air compressor control and pharmaceutical nanotechnology development Position and displacement can be monitored using sensing technologies including LVDT, strain gauge, draw-wire, rotary potentiometers and encoders. Miniature, Standard, Industrial and submersible models are available. Rotary and static torque measurement is achieved with mechanical interfaces including square drive, parallel keyed shaft and flanged, plus customised versions. Rotary models utilise slip-ring or non-contact data transmission with speeds up to 15, 000rpm. Static models to 50kNm are offered as standard with custom versions to 200kNm and beyond designed to order. Instrumentation is available to complete the measurement chain from sensor to signal conditioning, plus software for monitoring or control. These include analogue amplifiers and signal conditioners, digital indicators, signal digitisers and telemetry / wireless equipment. Where no off-the-shelf solution exists, custom sensors are designed and manufactured to suit and we have many examples of these applications to demonstrate our expertise in this area. This includes motorsport and other harsh environments, where only bespoke transducers designed for extreme conditions will cope whether you are measuring force, load, torque or stress.</p>
