Thakur Prasad Sao & Sons Pvt. Ltd. Limited, (TPSL) is a pioneer company in the mining of Iron Ore and Manganese ore, Exports of iron Ore fines and Sponge Making. They have their mining leases in the state of Orissa and Jharkhand. TPSL has got an Iron Ore mining lease of 365 hect. and manganese mining lease of 115 hect. in the state of Orissa. The annual production from the iron ore mining lease is around 5.5 million metric tons. The estimated reserve in the iron ore mine is around 150 million metric tons and in manganese mine is around 45 million metric tons. The company has got a sponge making facility of 0.2 MTPA in Rourkela and 0.1 MTPA in Jharsuguda. The future prospects of the company is to setup a1 MTPA integrated steel plant, 3.2 MTPA Pellet Plant and 500 MW Thermal Power Plant.</p>
