Talasco Dagang Sdn. Bhd. (TDSB) began operations in November 1984 and is 100% wholly owned and managed by Bumiputeras. Since its inception TDSB main business is metal recycling. In 1997, we started our Services Division when we tendered for Left Luggage Service in KLIA. We were then awarded with the contract and thereafter appointed by Malaysia Airports Berhad to manage the Left Luggage Services in Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA). In 2000, TDSB extended its services by providing Locker Services at the Satellite Building. In 2005 when LCCT-KLIA was officially opened, we were appointed the sole operator for Left Luggage, Unaccompanied Baggage and Courier Service operator for LCCT. Currently, TDSB is proud to be the sole operator of the Left Luggage Services in both main airports in Malaysia. Today, Talasco Dagang has lived up to its name which is the abbreviation of "Tahan Lasak Company". ("Tahan lasak" is the Malay equivalent of durable). Talasco Dagang's durability has gone from strength to strength and we have diversified into other services. Harnessing our top team's 20 years of experience in the marine industry, our visionary and innovative team successfully designed our very own speedboat with its one-of-a-kind hull and tunnel design, making our boat like no other. Our Engineering Division currently manufactures and supplies our very own speedboats, CAPTOR. From our humble beginning of just one division specialising in the metal recycling business, TDSB has weathered its fair share of economic crisis.
