In the 21st century, the ever-changing information age, the conditions in the industry have been changing rapidly as well. FDP has been in the limelight in recent years amid such rapid changes. Simwoo entered into an agreement with Japan-based Hirata Corp. in 1999 for Korean agency rights and technical cooperation in step with the global trends. Simwoo has been supplying FPD loaders, coaters and developers. In 2001 Simwoo hired a number of engineers with 10 or more years of experience in semiconductors and CPD equipment design and manufacturing technology, and successfully developed flat panel inspection systems (Macro Visual inspection systems, Micro-CD inspection systems, Mac-Mic inspection systems, etc.) as our own brands, and have been supplying them in great quantities so far. Now Simwoo is now firmly established as a flat panel manufacturer recognized both at home and abroad. Simwoo will continue R&D efforts to make world-best products on the basis of its technological edges, and to this end the company will keep trying to improve its current technology under the slogan of CMI (Continuous Measurable Improvement). Everyone at Simwoo including myself is aware that we must be creative enough to make something out of nothing, flexibly cope with the changes of the times, and contribute to the society. I am not short-sighted about the growth of Simwoo. Always faithful to the basics, we will take a step-by-step approach to become a technology leader in the core industrial sector and a company well received by the world over and respected by the society 30 years down the road.Now I sincerely hope that you, our customers, will watch how Simwoo fares and grows and criticize us at the same time to lead Simwoo in the right way.
