Our company is a new interior design company with production which is established by a group of Interior Designers after winning a funding grant from the Chinese Government supporting research projects, which would assist in the protection of the Chinese environment. We have since 2002 provided high quality design to the Chinese market. Going from strength to strength Shanghai Water Hyacinth Green Environment-friendly Furniture Co., Ltd. began exporting to Europe in the beginning of 2003. The first factory was set up with only 5 workers in a small retail premises in rural Chinese but nowadays the operation has expanded to over 40 staffs occupying over 1000 square metres. What is Water Hyacinth? Water Hyacinth is a tropical water weed with a spongy texture, which is commonly found in the rivers and lakes in South China. It grows densely in clumps of some 8-10 stems, each an average length of 60-80 centimetres.
