Self-adhesive materials consist of: A print carrier Adhesive and Backing paper This forms a material which sticks to a surface through contact and pressure. The print carrier or face paper may be standard papers, foils or synthetics depending on the desired appearance, technical requirements and printing process. The adhesive may be permanent or removable, and designed to cope with a specific variety of products, applications and storage needs. The backing paper or release liner provides a protection for the adhesive and is silicone for easy release.
