POSCO SS has been established and grown up as a special steel manufacturer in taking over the steel sectors of Sammi Special Steel since 1997 in playing major role in national infra industry by producing the cuttingedge industrial materials such as motor, machine, airplane, nuclear power, shipbuilding and electronics.The factory of 650,000m2 located in Jukhyun IZ of Shinchon-dong, Changwon-si has the annual 1M ton crude steel production capacity and provides stainless steel, tool steel, carbon alloy steel and special alloy.Through the incessant research and development, "POSCO SS" extends its utmost efforts of development of new steel and quality improvement. We plan to increase the production capacity for stainless steel and tool steels. As a result of these efforts, we have acquired the certificates from international standardization organizations including TUV, JIS, LLOYD and ISO9001.
