PetroTECH Information Consulting Services is a wholly-owned subsidiary and an external service provider of CNPC Economics & Technology Research Institute (hereinafter referred to as €œthe Institute€). In June 2002, PetroTECH was restructured, highlighting the core business, expanding to more service segments and eliminating some services in less relation to core business. Since then, PetroTECH has changed gradually from an internally-focused enterprise into an externally-oriented company. In early 2004, with the approval of the Institute, the printing plant was incorporated into PetroTECH. Thereby the company€™s service chain is built more integrated and the service range extends. Moreover, as a result of continuous resource optimization and business incorporation, PetroTECH has formed three major business segments: Ø Oil industry translation Ø Oil industry consultation and information product marketingØ Design and printing In recent years, PetroTECH has made great progress in all three segments. Our translation segment has become authoritative in the oil industry. The consultation and information product marketing segment has grown into a platform for oil industry to exchange and spread oil technologies and information research achievements.
