On 8 August 1989, Rafflesia Food Sdn Bhd was founded by Mr. Wong Tuck Hooi. His main purpose was to grind good quality spices for his catering business. The increasing demand for quality spices and imported herbs created a new market, and in 1991 Rafflesia Food Sdn Bhd was renamed to Rafflesia Food Trading Sdn Bhd to cater to food outlets, food manufacturers and hypermarkets in Malaysia. By 2003, there was a demand for instant products, and NIS, which is stands for Natural Instant Simple, was born. Mr. Wong formulated old recipes he created during his years of experience in the food catering business. On 27 May 2003, he renamed our company to Nis Spice Manufacturing Sdn Bhd.
