The company I represent is responsible to distribute copy, of cinematographic tapes to different theaters of Mexico and Central America. After they are exhibited in the cinemas, at the request of the production houses, we are responsible for recycling the material. This material is composed of a plastic base, with an emulsion film Ribbon. PLASTIC BASE:Polyester (C10H8O4) is the category of polymers contained in its main functional group. This polyester is generally referred to as synthetic polyester, PET.EMULSION:The film emulsion consists of silver halide grains suspended in a gelatinous colloid solution. There are three layers of silver which are mixed with filters that determine, in each case, a specific spectrum of light. There is a yellow layer, cyan and magenta in the negative after processing.The Film Ribbon, is etched on its surface to ensure non-reutilization.For transport - placed on pallets of approximately 1 1/2 cubic meters, weighing 1.2 tons. Another option is to place film stock in super sack bags, dimensions and weight similar to the previous option.We currently generate 80 tons of recyclable material per month.
