Luminessence was founded by designer Lou McDermott of Melbourne, Australia in January 2005. The label has proved successful and is selling to over 35 stores nationally.Luminessence is a high end womans wear brand that specializes in premium quality swimwear, beach wear and active wear. The label is aimed at active women aged between 15 and 35 years of age.All patterns are hand drawn and sampled by the desiger which guarantees a perfect fit on the body every time. The garments are designed and made locally using premium quality fabrics imported from Spain and Italy. Fabric designs are show cased in the collection which are exclusive to Luminessence.
