Firstly this process of the clean production separates starch, cellulose and other ingredients from disocin by solvent. Then by solution of Disocin , disacidifying, purification, crystallizing and re-crystallizing, high purity diosgenin can be obtained. The research indicates the extraction will be better using the broken-down wall technology together with solvent. In that condition, the loss of solvent is less than 2%, the pressure of acidolysising is in accord with the atmospheric pressure, acidity is 1mol/L and it will take 5 hours to acidolysis it. The rate of obtaining Dodogenin can reach 1% under these conditions. The acid will be less 90% than traditional process if we use the new process. Using this process of the clean production , the production cycle will be shorter.
