Welcome to Jang Kko Bang, a place that upholds and advances Korean pottery traditions.Jangkkobang is a local term for a Jangdokdae, a Jar/Pot stand to place jars and pots that contain soy sauce and the like and is a pottery studio that upholds and advances Korean pottery traditions. We use natural loess with high viscosity and natural glaze in pursuit of environmental friendliness. We research and develop the breathing function and antique-looking colors of the pots to make a variety of products that meet the contemporary senses. Jangkkobang, which makes pottery in conventional-style wood kilns, is devoted to make high-quality products as well as to train young craftspeople that can succeed to a brilliant Korean pottery culture, and runs an experiential learning field where people can actually touch and work clay, seeking a world where people live healthy and happy life.
