This system was conceived and patented in response to the absence of a definitive self-contained emergency egress and mass notification system utilizing state of the art LED components of various colors to indicate a type of hazard be it fire, terrorist incursion, threats requiring police response, or advance notification of pending natural disasters.In the event of a smoke/fire alert, the pathway will be illuminated with dynamic emergency lighting that will direct an individual toward the nearest exit. This is done with a set of green LED lights that strobe, to the nearest exit point. This emergency lighting is located low near the floor where an individual would be crawling out of a burning building.The system also incorporates the use of static red, blue, amber, and white LEDs in addition to the green egress LEDs. Each of these can be illuminated to indicate a different emergency situation. These could include: an intruder alert, a severe weather alert, an unauthorized person on a secure floor, or any other hazard. The system also provides emergency lighting in the event of a loss of building power. Each facility may set up specially programmed alert colors specific to their organizations needs using the various colors of LED lights. One application we have incorporated is to use blue to indicate an intruder or hostile situation. The amber color could be used for customized requirements for example in the event of an amber alert in a public area such as an airport.In the event of power loss, the system activates clear colored LEDs to light pathways. The system, including the loss of power circuit, has an internal battery capable of maintaining light for 90 minutes per design. The system is designed for multiple control boxes that each can control up 300 feet light strip. These can be on multiple power supply systems that will allow the system as a whole to continue to function in the event that one control box is compromised
