The Consortium is a ceramics export company in Chulucanas, Peru, founded by ceramic artisans. Its goal is to export high-quality ceramics at a fair prices. The ceramic artisans of the Consortium have inherited an ancestral technique of ceramic production from the Vicus y Tallan cultures: They form their ceramic using a paddle and stone and die it using the resin from the smoke of mango leaves, just as their ancestors did.The Consortium would like to form commercial alliances with importers of high-quality ceramics so that they are able to export ceramics and achieve and the sustainable development of their community.
