Now our personal air purifier is being sold on some major Korean home shopping channels such as GY My Shop, IM Shopping, W Shopping, etc. If UV LED light is lit on the TiO2 photocatalyst, a strong oxidant called OH radical is produced on the surface and this OH radical decomposes odours, harmful VOCs, bacteria and virus into harmless H2O and CO2 but is harmless to human body due to its very short life span less than a few nano seconds.
